Woooohoooohooooo! Well, I don’t know about you but i am SOOO excited for Christmas and that whole winter feel that’s soon going to be upon us! Roasting by a log burner, hot chocolate and soppy films on the gogglebox! Snuggled up with my little girls, oh yes! I cannot wait!
But to top it all off I get to bring you snapshots of that feeling from the 5th of September right through with our SUPER duper Seasonal catalogue! Puffed out full of cuteness, gorgeous stamps, dies, pains and pens! Oh, I DO love to share it with you all!
I am super THRILLED to be hopping with my beautiful team mates on our Seasonal Catalogue hop I am sure most of you started with our fearless leader Sam Hammond-Donald Aka Pootles!! Bringing you ALL the inspiration you need to kick start your winter crafting!
With my project today, I went traditional Red and Black with some of that icy sparkly to make the sentiment POP, Our real red cardstock was the perfect pick, teamed with our Basic black to make that sentiment and sentiment strip stand out.
I sliced an A4 sheet down the centre at 10.5cm and scored at 14.8 (and a smidge! If you are OCD enough like me to require a perfect centreline score)
To create the background stamping on the base, I lined my card base up on my Stamperatus and started to pop my stamps all over the top in a higgledy-piggledy manner… then I brought that Stamperatus window down to pick all those stamps up exactly how I had them laid out! (What a time-saver, right?!) I used Versamark ink pad to ink all of those then stamped onto my cardbase to create this fabulous watermarked background!
Next I changed the window on my Stamperatus to my 2nd one, and lined my ‘From us to you’ stamps in a line, ready to stamp onto my 1.5cm sentiment strip of Basic Black cardstock. I used an embossing buddy firstly to remove the static and any greasy fingerprints that may be there, then stamped in Versamark… this time the versamark is sprinkled with gold embossing powder and heat set!
Finally, I cut the Merry and Christmas dies out of Basic Black Cardstock, which I then brushed Wink of stella over to add sparkle! Glue these down with some liquid adhesive, and then used some fine-tip glue over the topside of the words to glaze them and lock the sparkle in.
I REALLY hope you like it! Thank you so much for joining me, I look forward to seeing you again soon!
